Bobby Gene Hershey, 90, of Keytesville, MO, died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Glasgow Gardens. Bobby was born May 17, 1935 in rural Keytesville, MO, the son of Jesse and Vonceil (Lee) Hershey. He married Jean Evelyn Pegelow on April 11, 1959 at Prairie Hill Christian Church.
Bobby was a graduate of Keytesville High School, Class of 1953. He was a lifelong farmer. Bobby served on the cemetery boards for Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and Corinth Cemetery.
Bobby is survived by four sons Randy Hershey of Keytesville, MO, Rick (Sherry) Hershey of Keytesville, MO, Roger Hershey of Keytesville, MO, Ronnie (Caren) Hershey of Keytesville, MO, grandchildren Tyler and Tori Hershey, Kathy (Gabe) Wiley, great grandchildren Matthew, Mason, Tryson, Lliam and Ella Rose, brother-in-law Lloyd Lenderman of IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean Evelyn on May 14, 2023, sisters Jessie (Herbert) Fry, Bonnie (Paul) Barnes, Georgie Lenderman, and grandson Matthew Gorbett.
Visitation is Monday, January 26, 2026 from 10-Noon with services following at Noon at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Burial in Bethany Cemetery north of Keytesville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Cemetery Association or Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
