Barbara L. Cott, 83, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Chuck Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com
Born June 25, 1942, in Saline County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Vincent H. Giger and Hazel L. Duren Giger. Barbara lived in Saline County her entire life and was a 1960 graduate of Marshall High School and then attended the nursing school at the University of Missouri- Columbia. On August 4, 1962, she married Cecil C. Cott who preceded her in death on December 9, 2020. Barbara’s career was spent in nursing working for numerous years at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Gideons International, and enjoyed her bowling leagues.
Survivors include one son, Steven Cott (France) of Marshall; one daughter, Sharon Davis (Harry) of Sedalia; and a step-grandson, Jason Sivils (Christal) of Bolivar.
