Stanley Bredehoeft, 70, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Born November 27, 1955, he was the son of the late Wallace Bredehoeft and Charlene Hemme Bredehoeft. Stanley lived in Sweet Springs his entire life and was a 1973 graduate of Sweet Springs High School. For over 20 years he owned and operated the Snack Station in Sweet Springs and then began a career as a card dealer at Station Casino in Kansas City. He remained with the same casino through all the different ownership and name changes and concluded his career by retiring from Ameristar Casino. Stanley was instrumental in the development of the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, starting when it was south of Sweet Springs, serving as treasurer and doing numerous things to make the races go. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his sister, Vicki Meyer (Ron) of rural Sweet Springs; three nephews: Jim Meyer (Jennifer), Jon Meyer (Robin), Mark Meyer (Beth); one niece, Mallory Petersen (Chris), as well as their families; and numerous cousins.
