In January of 2025, President Trump issued an executive order, Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation, restricting ‘gender-affirming care’ across the country. The order applies to all individuals under 19. The order impacts all federally-run insurance programs, including TRICARE for military families and Medicaid.
