The gold medal-winning US Men’s Hockey Team made a grand entrance at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night, walking in to resounding chants of “USA! USA!” from the crowd — but about half of the Democrats in attendance disrespectfully remained seated. As the team entered the House chamber, the crowd erupted in applause and chants of “USA.” President Trump, from the podium, highlighted the team’s accomplishment, joking that “even the Democrats stood up” for these American heroes, though he pointedly called out that not all Democrats rose to their feet.
