In the footage, which has now gone viral, a courageous young boy, who identifies himself as five-year-old Nico, called 911 in the middle of the night after spotting what he believed was a terrifying “monster” with “big black teeth” hiding under his brother’s bed. What followed was one of the most heartwarming police interactions captured on video in recent memory. The full bodycam footage was originally uploaded to YouTube by The Public Services channel in late April and exploded in popularity after being shared across other platforms.
