Eunice Lee Scott, 69, of Brookfield, MO; passed away peacefully at her home in Brookfield, Tuesday evening, May 12, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Eunice Lee was born on April 4, 1957, daughter of Lendell Harvey and Goldie Dora (Rulo) Cain, in Bonne Terre, MO. On August 16, 1974, she married Robert Franklin Scott in Long Branch, New Jersey. Robert preceded her in death on October 28, 2019.
Eunice worked at Stanbury Uniforms for several years. She was a member the Brookfield Eagles and the Brookfield Elks for many years. Eunice had an obsession with hunting Pokémon; you could catch her out driving around town with her grandkids or friends hunting Pokémon. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and frying up some of her famous fried chicken. Eunice will be most remembered for her bubbly spirit with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She loved spending time surrounded by her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and her dogs, Pearl, Dollie, Joline, Jasmine, and Little Bit.
Eunice is survived by her two sons, Robert (Jessica) Scott Jr. of Marceline, MO; and William Scott of Brookfield, MO; six grandchildren, Dakota Scott, Trinity Scott, Shelby (Mason) Barnett, Abigail Scott, Zayne Scott, and Christian Willsey; one sister, Sandra (Charlie) Martin; two brothers, Ronnie Cain and David Cain; and several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lendell Cain and Goldie Ludlow , husband, Robert Scott, one sister, Shelly Cain, two brothers, Junior Cain and Frank Cain, and one sister-in-law, Rodie Cain.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Rhodes Funeral Home in Brookfield, MO. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Marceline, MO. Visitation will be held at Rhodes Funeral Home in Brookfield, MO. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with the family receiving friends one hour prior, beginning at1:00 pm. until the time of the service at 2:00 pm.
