But now, the agreement on the EU’s new ‘Return Regulation’ between Parliament, the member states and the Commission has led Europe to a new reality with failed ‘asylum seekers’ being sent to ‘return hubs’ outside the bloc. We’ve come to the point where what was once disregarded as ‘far-right’ ravings has now become the official EU policy. What was once political taboo is now EU policy.
