Shirel Erwin Bullock, 85, of Gravois Mills, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, at his home.
Shirel was born on July 15, 1941, in Rolla, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Gillaspie) Bullock. He was first united in marriage to Sharon Bell in 1963; they later divorced. He then married Saundra Dishman; she preceded him in death in 1992. He later married Mary Cooper on July 30, 1994; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two daughters, Cinda Marie (Brian) Eastabrooks and Jenny Deane Bullock (Mitch Trent); stepson, Zach (Heather) Poland; stepdaughter, Jane (Doug) Larson; five grandchildren: Tanner (Shianne) Eastabrooks, Reagan Eastabrooks, Will Larson, Gunnar Poland, and Piper Trent; two great-grandchildren, Rowan Eastabrooks and Palmer Eastabrooks; and sister, Suzann Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Allen Bullock, and infant sister, Sharon Kay Bullock.
Shirel was raised and educated in Richmond, graduating from Richmond High School with the Class of 1959. He dedicated 32 years of service to Ford Motor Company before retiring and was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union. Outside of work, Shirel enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Some of his favorite memories were made with family and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks, a place he dearly loved. A lifelong Ford enthusiast, he had a passion for classic Ford automobiles and owned many throughout the years. Above all, Shirel treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., with services to follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Le
