William “Billy” Joseph Nickell, 44, of Independence died Friday, July 31. A visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Billy Nickell Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
