A memorial service will begin at 6:30 PM at the church.

David was born in Carrollton, Missouri on August 30, 1952, the fourth child of Max and Ruth Randolph. He attended Carrollton R-VII schools and graduated in 1970. He was active in band, playing trumpet, and was proud to be part of the 1st Carrollton Band Day. He attended Northwest Missouri State University, where he met Mary Murphy. They were married at First Baptist Church in Carrollton on September 9, 1972. They moved to Carrollton and David joined the family business, Randolph Farm Equipment, where he served as Parts and Service Manager. They welcomed four children during their marriage. On February 11, 1988 David married Cindi Miller in Reno, Nevada, and they welcomed two children to complete his family.

David was committed to his family and community. He loved serving lifelong customers at “The Tractor Store” with his parents and brother. He was active in the Carrollton Booster Club and the Carrollton Alumni Band. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and youth leader. He loved coaching his kids and other youth in the Carroll County Little League and also served as a volunteer commissioner. He also served 18 years on the Carrollton School Board of Education.

David loved his family. He cared for his grandmother and mother in their later years. He loved sending flowers to Cindi and their time together often revolved around the kids’ music concerts, athletic events and other activities. He was proud of all of his children. His greatest joy was becoming “Papa” to his grandchildren: singing to them, eating popcorn and watching movies with them, hosting bonfires and Hayrides (a Randolph Family Tradition), and taking trips to the Dari-Maid. He was known for his huge smile, hearty voice and warm and kind manner, and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Ruth Randolph, and a brother, Houston Randolph.

He is survived by his wife Cindi Randolph, his sisters Sandra (Ray) Anderson and Roberta (Gary) Kimes, sister-in-law Marla Randolph, his children: Karen (Doug) Rogers, Matt (Katie) Randolph, James (Kristy) Randolph, Cindy Campbell, Dylan (Becca) Randolph and McKayla (Chris) Rodgers, his grandchildren: Alex, Oliver, Evan, Ada, Audrey, Graham, Evelyn and soon-to-arrive, Ellie. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carrollton Trojan Booster Club or Carrollton Parks (designated for Christmas in the Park).
