Over the past week, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and county deputies across mid-Missouri reported a series of arrests ranging from felony warrants and drug possession to driving while intoxicated. The following is a roundup of arrests from area counties, with the most serious incidents leading the list.

Boone County

Late on August 31, Darius D. Davis, 32, of Jefferson City, a man, was arrested on a felony Greene County warrant for failure to appear on a non-support charge. He also faces charges of driving while suspended and not wearing a seat belt. Davis was taken to the Cole County Jail and is listed as bondable.

In the early hours of August 31, Jessica A. Frazier, 33, of Columbia, a woman, was arrested on suspicion of DWI (alcohol). Troopers also cited her for exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 mph or more and failing to maintain the right half of the roadway. She was released on summons.

On August 29, Dana T. King, 70, of Kansas City, a man, was arrested on two misdemeanor Boone County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of no insurance. He was taken to the Boone County Jail and is bondable.

Just after midnight on August 30, Ieasha L. Griffin, 20, of Florissant, a woman, was arrested on a misdemeanor Warren County warrant for failure to appear on a speeding charge. She was transported to the Boone County Jail and is bondable.

Ray County

On the morning of August 28, Robert L. Powell, 58, of Kansas City, a man, was taken into custody on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance (mushrooms) and possession of drug paraphernalia with a prior drug offense. He was additionally cited for following too closely, failure to yield to a vehicle approaching in the opposite direction, and no insurance. Powell was held at the Ray County Jail and later released.

On August 30 at 3:06 p.m., Jordan K. Shockey, 19, of Liberty, a man, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, along with citations for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, no front plate, and excessive window tint. He was booked into the Ray County Jail on a 12-hour hold.

Saline County

On August 28 at 1:01 p.m., Stephen W. Hassler, 51, of Sedalia, a man, was arrested on a felony Pettis County warrant. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and is bondable.

Carroll County

On August 29 at 6:15 p.m., Jacob D. Evans, 35, of Marshall, a man, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Saline County. He was held at the Saline County Jail and is bondable.

Macon County

On September 1 at 9:19 a.m., Jacob R. Moore, 25, of Hale, a man, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Macon County Jail and released.

Sullivan County

Shortly after midnight on August 31, Clay J. McNish, 18, of Green City, a man, was arrested for being a minor visibly intoxicated. He was taken to the Sullivan County Jail and released.

All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
