Wisconsin is a 6-2 Republican state in Congress. Democrats want to change that. A new petition pushed by Marc Elias asks the liberal Supreme Court to toss out the state’s current congressional districts. One month ago Wisconsin voters chose far-left Democrat Susan Crawford over Republican Brad Schimel in the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice race. The race would decide Wisconsin’s future, including election laws, voter ID laws, ballot drop boxes, and the redistricting of the state’s eight US House seats. Currently, Republicans in Wisconsin hold a 6-2 majority in US House seats, yet surprisingly, Democrats are able to win statewide races. It’s very odd.
