The building’s entryway was destroyed by a deliberate act of arson, with vandals scrawling the words “ICE = KKK” across the property. “On March 30, 2025 at 05:56, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched with Bernalillo County Fire Rescue to 5160 San Francisco Dr. NE for a reported structure fire,” Albuquerque Fire Department posted on Facebook. The post added, “Engine 15 arrived on scene and reported working fire. The fire was brought under control within 5 minutes of their arrival.
