Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been considered a rising star in the Democrat party, possibly even a presidential candidate, but that could be over now. Whitmer was at the White House this week to meet with Trump to discuss various issues. This should not be a big deal. Governors work with presidents all the time in order to get things done for their states. But Whitmer ended up being photographed in the Oval Office and some Democrats are absolutely furious about this. Democrats are so purist in their anti-Trump views that you cannot even be seen in the same room as the president, even if it will benefit your constituents in some way.
