Taylor Lorenz is an independent journalist but she is not part of the fringe. She has worked for the New York Times and the Washington Post. With that in mind, it was disturbing to see her getting positively giddy as she discussed accused murderer Luigi Mangione on CNN and said that she could imagine some women describing him as attractive and ‘a morally good man.’ It’s also amazing that this happened on a CNN show supposedly about political extremism. The host of the program recently said that all of the extremism is coming from the right and that there is no equivalent on the left.
