This story is yet another example of how people in the elite establishment just don’t get it. Pollster Frank Luntz spoke to a panel made up of Trump supporters. He seemed to want to goad them into admitting regret for voting for Trump based on economic policy, specifically tariffs. Instead, no one regrets anything. Most of them seem completely willing to pay more for products made in America. Everyone seems confident that the stock market will eventually self-correct. Luntz is positively stunned. The panel clearly didn’t go the way he was expecting.
