A Texas mother has been arrested for serving spiked Jello shots to 15 children at a 5th-grade Christmas party, causing one of them to pass out. Teresa Isabel Bernal, 33, was arrested on Monday, but claims she bought the boozy treats on Facebook Marketplace and did not know they contained alcohol. Bernal claimed that the shots “do taste different,” but she brought them to the party anyway and did not realize they contained booze until after all the kids consumed them. According to a report from the New York Post, almost all of the students reported “‘having stomach aches and headaches,’ the affidavit said.
