Argentine President Javier Milei fulfilled a symbolic promise by releasing documents detailing the activities of Nazi criminals who fled to the country after the collapse of National Socialist Germany in 1945. The previously classified files open a window into Argentina’s turbulent past, and reveal the lives as fugitives of a number of notorious Nazis such as Josef Mengele and Adolf Eichmann.
