The Supreme Court stayed the lower court’s preliminary injunction on the transgender military ban pending appeal in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The high court made the decision 6-3. Liberal Justices Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson would have denied the application. There was no explanation included in the Supreme Court’s decision.
