President Trump rolled out a new statue on the Resolute Desk this afternoon, depicting the moments after he was shot in the ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024. It can be recalled that Trump was shot in the ear by Thomas Matthew Crooks mid-speech in Butler last July, and he immediately ducked for cover as counter-snipers took the shooter out. Iconically, Trump stood up moments later and began pumping his fist, chanting, “Fight, fight, fight.” After being stuck by a bullet, the president demanded that the Secret Service agents let him remain on the stage for a moment before pumping his fist in the air. One rallygoer, Corey Comperatore, was killed in the July 13 shooting, and two were injured….
