President Trump signed the Take it Down Act to crimialize revenge porn and other noncensentual porngraphic images into law on Monday. President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump held a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. The Act requires social media platforms to removenonconsensuall sharing of intimate imagery (NCII) within 48 hours of a victim’s request. This includes revenge porn and AI generated images. The bipartisan bill, championed by First Lady Melania Trump, criminalizesnonconsensuall pornographic images and AI images depicting pornographic imagery.
