ATLANTA, GA, MAY 21, 2025 – The majority Democrat Fulton County Board of Commissioners refused their legal duty Wednesday to appoint the Republican Party nominees to the Fulton County Election Board while appointing the two Democrat Party nominees just minutes earlier. The Board voted along party lines to “file” or table both Republican nominees indefinitely. The move violates multiple Fulton County ordinances which require the board to be non-partisan and to appoint the nominees made from each political party. Part I, Chapter 14, Section 33, of the Fulton ordinances states in Paragraph 2 that: ”Two members shall be appointed by the governing authority of Fulton County from nominations made…
