Fayette County deputies earlier in the week conducted a routine traffic stop of a pickup pulling a hay trailer in Flatonia, Texas. After noticing something was off about the hay bales, officers searched and discovered that the bales were hollowed out and contained 12 people in dangerously tight spaces. The accused smugglers were identified as Adanaylo Lambert, 22, and Lency Delgado Fernandez, 25, who now face federal and state human smuggling charges.
