West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey has again promised to keep fighting to protect girls’ sports as a “transgender” biological boy competed against girls in the state track championship. A West Virginia law that banned boys and men from competing in female sports was blocked by a federal appeals court. The state has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court.
