Former vice-president Kamala Harris is fading as a contender in the 2028 presidential election, according to latest polling data. The latest poll from AtlasIntel shows that Harris has dropped back to 16.6 percent of support among likely Democratic voters. Harris is lagging behind New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 19.4 percent as the left-wing grassroots seek to rally around a candidate who makes no secret of her intention to turn America into a socialist state. However, it is former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg who has emerged as the unlikely frontrunner, garnering 31.5 percent support.
