The Prime Ministers of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, and Greenland, Greenland Prime minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen, have bowed to Trump’s National Security concerns. The Danish have caved and will allow US bases in their territory. When US President Donald J. Trump expressed his desire to gain control of the island of Greenland, it took most by surprise, and generated a panic in the kingdom of Denmark.
