A whopping 62 percent of Democrats want their party’s leadership to be replaced and believe they are too focused on woke issues like transgender rights. The Reuters/Ipsos pollsters surveyed self-identified Democrats and found that only 24 percent do not want leadership to change. Another 14 percent did not have an opinion on the matter. Just 30 percent of Republicans wanted to see their party’s leadership replaced. Reuters reports: Other Democrats said the party sometimes over-emphasizes issues that they view as less critical such as transgender rights. Just 17% of Democrats said allowing transgender people to compete in women and girls’ sports should be a priority, but 28% of Democrats think party leaders see it as such.
