Image: Video screenshot/IDF On Saturday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced it had eliminated two Iranian Revolutionary Guard commanders, Saeed Izadi and Benham Shahriyari, in separate strikes. Saeed Izadi, who led Palestine Corps of the overseas arm (Quds Force) was killed during a missile strike on an apartment in Iran’s Qom province. Izadi’s main focus was keeping Hamas in control of Gaza and the Quds Force was a “key coordinator” between the terror regime and Hamas in the lead up to the Hamas terror attacks against Israeli civilians on October 7. IDF notes that Izadi was also responsible for increasing the financial funding from Iran to Hamas for terrorist activities against Israel.
