White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Thursday, after her Wednesday meeting with the House Republican Study Committee to discuss the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, that she fully expects the Big Beautiful Bill to pass by its July 4 deadline. President Trump has demanded Republicans send the bill to his desk so that he can fulfill his second-term agenda, including tax cuts and border security. The bill is currently in the Senate after the House passed it last month by a razor-thin margin.
