Protesters gathered in Florida Saturday to denounce the state starting construction this week on a DHS funded project to house illegal aliens at a remote airstrip in the Everglades dubbed, “Alligator Alcatraz,” an aborted airport site built in the 1960s that is usually used for training, formally known as the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport.
