A Florida man who was shot in the chest miraculously survived thanks to his cross necklace. Aidan Perry, 20, was accidentally shot in the chest by a friend who was showing off his gun. The bullet’s original path was to Perry’s heart, but the bullet ended up deflecting into fatty tissue after hitting Perry’s cross necklace. Doctors stated that if Perry wasn’t wearing the necklace, the bullet would have pierced his heart. Perry told WFLA, “I look at it as a lifesaver.
