Two Chinese nationals have been arrested and charged by the Department of Justice for “acting as agents of the Government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) without prior notification to the Attorney General.” Yuance Chen, 38, and Liren “Ryan” Lai, 39, were arrested last Friday for “carrying out various clandestine intelligence taskings in the U.S. on behalf of the PRC’s…Ministry of State Security (MSS).” Chen resides in Happy Valley, OR, and is a PRC national but a legal permanent resident.
