New York City leftists stunned the Democrat Party elites when they nominated radical communist Zohran Mamdani as their party’s candidate for Mayor of New York City. Mamdani won the Democrat primary after former Governor Andrew Cuomo initially withdrew from the race on election night in June. Zohran is a self-described socialist with radical ideas and an apparent hatred for Israel. Mamdani has proposed free universal child care, creating city-run grocery stores, rolling out free bus service, and freezing rents on rent-stabilized units. These policies have failed whenever they have been enacted by a wild-eyed communist.
