Comedy and free speech scored a massive win today in federal court. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday unanimously threw out the conviction of Pro-Trump meme maker and Crooked Hillary tormenter Douglass Mackey for posting memes during the 2016 election in an effort to help Trump win. “We REVERSE Mackey’s conviction and REMAND the case to the district court with instructions to enter a judgment of acquittal,” the decision from the court reads.
