As KABC reported, officers on Sunday morning responded to Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard near Crypto.com area after hearing reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. The LAPD said that a man was flashing a huge machete at people and chanting. Once the police arrived, the man decided to charge at them, but they showed restraint.
