In Germany, the Bundestag’s police commissioner, Uli Grötsch, is pushing hard to boot out all members of the conservative Alternative for Germany (AfD) party from the police force. As a member of the left-leaning Social Democratic Party (SPD), Grötsch holds a position designed to oversee police misconduct, but now he’s using his position to target supporters of the AfD to disqualify them from serving in law enforcement.
