Troy Smocks In 2022, The Gateway Pundit shared the story of J6 political prisoner Troy Smocks, a black man from Texas, while he was being held in the DC “Gitmo” with other defendants for the events that unfolded at the Capitol on January 6. He was incarcerated with a diverse group of Trump supporters who were white, black, Hispanic, Arab, Christian, Jewish, straight, and transgender.
