According to Persecution.org “In the middle of the night on May 17, two predominantly Christian villages in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) were shaken by coordinated attacks that left dozens dead and many more wounded.” Despite the constant talk about Muslims being persecuted, the reality is that followers of political Islam are persecuting Christians throughout the Middle East and Africa. The attacks were carried out by a group known as Allied Democratic Forces, according to expert Robert Spencer. According to a local official, “At least six civilians were killed during an overnight raid by suspected ADF militants”.
