Ghislaine Maxwell wants immunity to be deposed in Congress. Unless given immunity by the Oversight Committee, Maxwell will likely plead the Fifth Amendment during her deposition. As we have reported here on TGP, last week, convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell met twice with the DOJ’s number 2, Todd Blanche, for sweeping interviews about the Jeffrey Epstein trafficking ring, in which she discussed over 100 people involved in the case. The result of these talks will be released ‘at the appropriate moment’ – it’s anybody’s guess when that will happen. Meanwhile, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee subpoenaed her for a deposition in Congress. Maxwell’s attorney David Markus said today that ‘she would only speak with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee if granted immunity’….
