Rutgers University has deleted four “woke” race-based scholarships from its website after a civil rights complaint was filed against it on Friday. The Equal Protection Project (EPP) filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, according to a report from Campus Reform. Finally, a much-needed debate is happening in America as a result of the proactive anti-Woke measures and enforcement by the Trump administration. Despite these scholarships being deleted, the complaint provides archives for each award. One example was a scholarship giving preferences to “underrepresented minorities,” even though racial discrimination is illegal. Another program focused on “underrepresented students,” whatever that means.
