There are reports of at least one deputy shot in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, on Wednesday evening. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including state, local, and federal, are responding to an active scene at the intersection of Pittsville Road and Homestead Road. A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene. Congressman John McGuire confirmed multiple deputies were shot, but details about the shooting are not clear.
