The move, detailed in a memo from HUD Deputy Secretary Andrew Hughes, aims to streamline operations, cut wasteful spending on multilingual translations, and ensure the department speaks with “one voice and one language.” Effective immediately, HUD will remove non-English content from its websites, buildings, and materials.
