Air Force Chief of Staff General David Allvin abruptly announced he will retire on or about November 1, 2025. General Allvin was halfway into his four-year term. He did not give a reason for his early retirement. Allvin was reportedly supportive of President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. “The 23rd U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen.
