President Trump on Monday said during a meeting with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed that “Russia would accept security guarantees for Ukraine.” Trump is meeting with Zelensky and several European leaders, including NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
