On Saturday, August 30, the heart of New York City shook with a sound rarely heard in Washington Square Park: conservatives, independents, and even Democrats standing shoulder-to-shoulder against socialism. Brandon Straka, founder of the #WalkAway movement, was joined by author and media personality Shamika Michelle, mayoral candidate Joseph Hernandez, social media firebrand Defender of the Republic, and myself to rally against the failed ideology that radical Democrats are now trying to force on America.
