Last week, Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser shocked Democrats and their media allies by acknowledging that Trump’s crackdown on crime in the city was helpful and effective. The one issue that liberals have held onto is that Trump’s DC takeover was only in effect for 30 days, unless he declared an emergency. Now, Muriel Bowser has issued an executive order for local law enforcement to work with federal officials indefinitely, which means Trump does not have to declare an emergency. She clearly thinks this arrangement is working well. This is a huge win for Trump but more importantly, a massive win for the people who live and work in the city.
