Stevens took to social media to boast about an endorsement from Berrien County Commissioner Chokwe Pitchford. Stevens wrote on X, in a post that has since been deleted, “I am truly honored to be endorsed by Commissioner Pitchford. Your work in Berrien County is inspiring Thank you, Commissioner.” The only problem? Pitchford did not, in fact, endorse Stevens.
