President Trump attended the US Open on Sunday and received a warm welcome with plenty of fans to whom he was seen tossing signed MAGA hats and US Open hats. This may come as a surprise to some, given that the event was in New York City and did not have a particularly Trump-friendly group of fans. This was Trump’s first appearance at the US Open since 2015. The liberal attendees booed then-candidate Trump heavily at that match. But Trump was seen at the stadium this time around, signing hats for supporters, and many were seen enthusiastically photographing the President.
