MSNBC has issued an apology for “unacceptable” comments made by one of their analysts following Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Kirk was brutally murdered in broad daylight during a Comeback tour event he was hosting at Utah Valley University. He was just 31 years old. Moments after the shooting was reported, the network hosted the Democratic political consultant Matthew Dowd, who accused Kirk of propagating “hate speech.” “But following up with what was just said, he’s been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech, or sort of aimed at certain groups,” he remarked. ”And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.” At…
